helps young children develop Phonemic Awareness (PA):

the consciousness that spoken and written language is made up of individual sounds.

 

Young Children will grow in Readiness Skills as they:

SING jingles to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle

memorize jingles to “read” the book alone

learn to recognize capitals and lower case

develop the ability to SPELL words sound by sound

add letters before rhymes and after consonant/vowel teams
